THAT
the Fraser Valley Regional District Board endorse the
application dated March 11, 2015 for temporary changes to the liquor
licence for the Sasquatch Inn (46001 Lougheed Highway, Electoral
Area C) with the following comments:
Although the Regional District has no objection to the planned events
and requested changes to the Liquor Licence, it is suggested that the
following items be addressed before approval is granted:
1.
Temporary provisions for vehicular parking should be identified
to ensure that the requirements identified in the current local
zoning bylaw for the property are being maintained (one per
three seats provided for patron use).
2.
Confirmation should be obtained from the Fraser Health
Authority or from an Authorized Person pursuant to the provincial
Sewerage Regulation that the existing (and proposed temporary)
facilities will be adequate for the proposed increased occupant
loads.'

THAT
the Fraser Valley Regional District Board endorse the
application dated April 6, 2015 for temporary changes to the liquor
licence for the Historic Dewdney Pub (8793 River Road South,
Electoral Area G) with the following comments:
The Fraser Valley Regional District has no objection to the planned
events and requested changes to the Liquor Licence, subject to the
following items being addressed before approval is granted:
1.
Temporary provisions for vehicular parking should be identified
to ensure that the requirements (one per three seats provided for
patron use), identified in the current local zoning bylaw for the
property, are being maintained.
2.
Confirmation should be obtained from the Fraser Health

THAT
the Fraser Valley Regional District Board (FVRD) respond to
the referral for a Licence of Crown Land Occupation and Water
Licence to develop a micro hydro electric project in the Hope area of
Electoral Area “B”, with the following comments:
1.
THAT Camp Hope will require a Fraser Valley Regional District
Building Permit to construct the powerhouse located on 61855
Lougheed Hwy;
2.
THAT the proponent continue consultation with all stakeholders
involved, including, but not limited to neighbouring property
owners, Chawathil First Nation and Stó:l Tribal Council,
throughout the project process;
3.
THAT geotechnical assessments by independent Professional
Engineers be carried out to ensure that construction activities will
not negatively impact slope stability, sediment transport, debris
flow and other risks to private properties or Reserve areas;
4.
THAT Agricultural Land Commission approval is obtained for the
portions of the project located within the Agricultural Land
Reserve, as this is considered to be a non-farm use;
5.
THAT the proponent ensure that any re-activated or new access
roads be appropriately constructed, maintained, managed, and
decommissioned; and
6.
The FVRD has an adopted a Community Benefit Contribution
Policy. The FVRD Board strongly encourages Camp Hope to
consider a voluntary contribution of financial or in-kind resources
that will result in mutual benefit to the communities of Electoral
Area “B”, Chawathil and Hope.

creation and/or replacement of all future regional park structures.
